We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or are used in a manner we deem harmful to the platform or other users.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access, scrape, or harvest data from the platform beyond normal browsing

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination without prior notice.
5. User-Generated Content
5.1 Scouting Notes
You retain ownership of scouting notes you create. By using the platform, you grant RuckMob a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your notes as part of providing the service. When you share a note with another user, you grant that user permission to view it. You are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of your notes.
5.2 Content Standards
Scouting notes and any other user-generated content must not contain abusive, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, or illegal content. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any user-generated content. Scouting assessments represent the opinions of individual users and should not be relied upon as professional evaluations.
5.3 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these terms, is reported by other users, or that we determine in our sole discretion to be harmful, without prior notice. We may also terminate accounts associated with repeated violations.
6. Player and Match Data
Player statistics, match results, and related data on the platform are compiled from publicly available sources including official league records, publicly accessible databases, and manual data entry. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free. You should not make professional, financial, or consequential decisions based solely on data presented on this platform.
If you are a player, coach, or representative and believe any data is inaccurate or should be corrected or removed, please contact us at info@ruckmob.com.
7. Third-Party News Content
Our news feed displays headlines and brief descriptions aggregated from third-party RSS feeds. We do not create, own, endorse, or verify this content. Clicking a headline redirects you to the original publisher's website, which is governed by their own terms and privacy policy. Third-party content is provided "as is" and we make no warranties regarding its accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or availability. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on third-party content.
8. Intellectual Property
The RuckMob name, logo, visual design, original software code, and the unique compilation and presentation of data are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of any part of the platform without our prior written permission.
Publicly available rugby statistics and factual data are not subject to this restriction. Player names, team names, and league names are the property of their respective owners.
If you believe any content on the platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at info@ruckmob.com with details of the alleged infringement.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
- The platform will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or secure
- Any data, statistics, or content on the platform is accurate, complete, or current
- The platform will meet your specific requirements or expectations
- Any defects or errors will be corrected
- The platform is free of viruses or other harmful components
Rugby statistics, player data, and scouting information are compiled from public sources and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You use this data at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RUCKMOB AND ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL RUCKMOB'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO RUCKMOB IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS ($10.00 USD).
This limitation applies even if RuckMob has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RuckMob and its operators, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your scouting notes or other user-generated content
- Your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party
This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your account and these Terms. If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, this provision applies only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection law.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal proceeding, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting info@ruckmob.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed as described below.
12.2 Binding Arbitration
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform that is not resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration, except that either party may bring individual claims in small claims court if they qualify. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Consumer Arbitration Rules.
12.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND RUCKMOB AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR OUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
12.4 EU and UK Users
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, the arbitration and class action waiver provisions above do not affect your statutory rights. You retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws.
13. Service Availability and Modifications
We do not guarantee any specific level of availability, uptime, or performance. The platform may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
14. Force Majeure
RuckMob shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, pandemics, government actions, internet or infrastructure failures, power outages, or outages of third-party service providers (including Vercel, Supabase, and Cloudflare).
15. Account Termination
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms, with or without prior notice.
Upon account deletion:
- Your account credentials and profile will be permanently removed
- Your scouting notes and shared notes will be deleted
- Aggregated, anonymized data (e.g., profile view counts) may be retained as it cannot be linked back to you
The following sections survive termination: Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law.
16. Third-Party Links and Services
The platform contains links to third-party websites, including news sources and external rugby resources. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these websites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk and subject to those sites' own terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. For any disputes not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in the United States.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction, including your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
18. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice (e.g., via a banner on the platform or email notification). Your continued use of the platform after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
20. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of any provision shall only be effective if made in writing.
21. Assignment
We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction — including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent; any attempted assignment without consent is void.
22. Open Source Software
The platform uses open-source software libraries subject to their own licenses (primarily MIT and Apache 2.0). Use of these libraries is governed by their respective license terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those open-source licenses.
